Leaving on a Jet Plane

So, I'm leaving on Friday for a vacation to Europe with my family. Woot. I'll be gone from June 30 to July 17. If I don't sound as excited as I ought to, well, that's because some bad stuff happened this week.

I'm also going to be moving to Japan for a year (!), leaving in early August. I am getting progressively more freaked out as my departure date approaches. So many things to do!

In terms of LJ, this means that I'm not going to be online as much for the next couple of months.

There was an article today in the Vancouver Sun about the latest fad (at least I've never heard of it): women marrying themselves. They even get wedding presents.

Some people might be able to make feminist statements about such an event--but I just want to say WANK WANK WANK WANKITY WANK.

lol yeah, I totally don't know you but since I recently dove into hikaru no go, I was searching the fansites on LJ and stuff. So I came along the Hikago djs community and saw this post you made like 2 months ago about your OTP being those 2 amateur american go players. I just HAD to say... that whole post (including photos) made me laugh so hard.... I just had to tell you. -.- thank you for making my day SO GREAT. That was very.... very funny. XD

Nice to meet ya! Glad you enjoyed my OTP declaration--it sure was fun writing it. Those dear Americans just don't get enough love.
