(That said, I only need 55% to pass. I've still got a chance in hell. Will find in in March.)

Yeah, isn't it ridiculous to wait that long for a multiple choice test? It's a long time to keep my toes crossed! I will have toe cramps.

That's the bleepin' JLPT for you. They *lost* my Japanese conversation leader's results for a time so he had to wait three months longer. (He took 1kyuu).

Wow, seriously? Good thing he didn't need it for a job or something.

That said, at least the test is only $70 and not $200+, like TOEFL and whatnot. But then TOEFL actually requires human markers and the research that gets poured into it is tremendous.
