So, spring break is fast approaching. I'm hoping to take a Japanese course in Tokyo from March 24-28, but I need a place to stay. Would any of my Tokyo/Saitama flist be willing to house me for about a week?? :D I would probably want to hang around for the 29th and 30th as well.

I can choose the morning classes (9:00am-1:00pm) or afternoon classes (1:30-5:30pm) for the course. I'll pick the time that's most convenient for my gracious host, of course. But if no one wants to put up with me, the matter I shall not force. There shall be no remorse from any source!

My place is most definitely not good for a guest, but if you get no other offers it's okay with me. It would be VERY cramped though. T_T

You're welcome to stay at my place, though the previous problem still stands: I have a spare futon and pillow, but no blankets. But if you could somehow bring your own, then it's all good. Also, my place isn't huge, so you'd have to consider whether you could put up with me for a week. XD

Yeah, that's totally cool with me. You'll have to entertain yourself for most of the day, but I could hang out with you on Monday. That Sunday I'm actually going to a dessert buffet with some of my students, though if you're interested you're welcome to join us. :D

You know I work on Saturday, right? And I just remembered, I have to go to this farewell party after work, which will go until 10pm or so. Is that kind of too late for you? Would it be better if you came on Friday instead?

Friday would be fine too! I think my back should be back to normal by then. Er, by the way, how comfortable is your extra futon? Normally I wouldn't ask, but right now I'm an obachan...

Hmm, it's pretty thin. Do you normally sleep on a futon at home? Or a bed?

And what time would you be coming down on Friday? I'm pretty much working from 12:00 to 9:00, so that leaves morning or night. :/

I totally want it to be known to the world! My station is Niiza, it's on the JR Musashino line. There are several ways to get here, but it's not hard to look up. Unless you'd rather I just give you instructions?

BLEARGH, it turns out I have another work party on Friday, so I'll be coming to meet you on Saturday evening instead.

I think I have to take the Saikyo line from Omiya and then get off at Musashiurawa, where I get onto the Musashino line. Pretty straightforward! What time should I get there?

XD!! Okay, our social lives are clearly way too busy. But Sunday morning is cool, as long as you get here before 12 because we're meeting up for the dessert buffet then. :D

As for the train lines, are you arriving via Omiya station? :O If it's from Tokyo station, you can catch the JR Keihin-Tohoku line to Minami-Urawa, then switch to the JR Musashino line to Niiza.

In that case, yeah, JR Saikyo to Musashi-Urawa, then JR Musashino to Niiza. 11:07 is fine, I'll meet you at the station. :D
