Goddamn 2010 Olympics. Swear to god, if I lose my 351 bus to the stupid new Skytrain line, someone will DIE.

Also, Harper makes me miss Chretien SO BAD. At least when Chretien was saying retarded things, no one could understand him. XD

I'm from Richmond and I'm actually hoping that the new RAV line is going to make life better, but I'm not holding my breath. The 98 B-line was supposed to do that too.

Because turnstiles WOULDN'T WORK IN VANCOUVER, NO REALLY WE'RE SERIOUS. XD And that thing where you're supposed to add the difference for additional fares on Skytrain if you have a one-zone pass? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's more a guideline than a rule.

I'm way out in White Rock/South Surrey, and was pretty sure the connections to, uh, anywhere couldn't get any worse. But how I keep getting proven wrong. I dunno, at least you have more options out in Richmond and downtown - in the 'burbs, you've got the choice of the 351, or the 321-and-Skytrain. Both of which do not run even half as much as they should.

*stabs translink in the face*

Also: I FIND IT EXCITING THAT THERE IS A HIKAGO FAN WHO LIVES NEAR ME IN REAL LIFE. Except you're in Japan at the moment, BUT STILL. < 333

I love how Translink whines about their deficit every year. Maybe it would help IF PEOPLE ACTUALLY HAD TO PAY TO USE YOUR SERVICES YOU DUMBASSES.

I know I shouldn't complain about Richmond, considering that some people only get buses to their area like twice a day and stuff, but the thing that kills me is that the 98 B-line is only marginally better than the system we had before. To implement it, they tore up our main street and turned it into a traffic nightmare. And now they're ripping out the lane they made for the B-line just a few years ago to put in the RAV. Way to go for long-term planning.

But enough about translink. I THINK YOU MIGHT BE THE ONLY OTHER HIKAGO FAN IN VANCOUVER AND I'M SO SAD I'M ONLY FINDING YOU NOW. And you like Katamari Damacy too! Clearly you have impeccable taste.

BUT THE CRYING IS PROOF OF YOUR LOVE!!! God, I cried so much when I first read Hikago. I don't cry anymore, but that's because after the third time around it gets to be a bit hard to be surprised by Sai's leaving. omgspoiler!

Yep, I do plan on coming back from Japan in a year or three. Possibly even two. I like Translink Vancouver my family my dog too much to stay in Japan permanently. I will stalk you once I go back so we can have Katamari/Hikago hijinks!

Yes, crying = love, but okay. After watching the whole series three times, one would think I could get through it without dissolving into a sobbing puddle of woe.

I cry when Sai leaves, but I managed to reel it back the fourth time I watched the ep (on its own). I also cry like a little girl when the last episode rolls around, because then it's all, 'TOUYA SEES INTO MY SOUL' and 'LET'S DEDICATE OUR LIVES TO EACH OTHER' and it just. I sort of whimper things like, 'Oh my god FINALLY THEY GET EACH OTHER' and of course, this ends up with people who haven't seen the series asking me, 'So, is it a shounen-ai series?' and I just nod. Because really.

You're doing JET, right? I thought they did one-year contracts and you can only reapply once?? HIJINKS AND SHENANIGANS WILL ENSUE UPON YOUR RETURN NONETHELESS. :D:D:D

Yep, I'm a JET. I have a one-year contract and I can reapply twice, meaning I can stay for up to three years. I'll probably be here for two or three years--it was so much damn work to move here and get all my paperwork done, one year just doesn't cut it. SO OUR WILD DOINGS IN VANCOUVER SHALL BE DELAYED BUT THEY SHALL INDEED HAPPEN! BECAUSE I'M YOUR RIVAL AND YOU'RE MINE!

I miss Jean like mad. He was the perfect leader, if for no other reason than the fact that our official langauges are English and French, and Jean speaks neither one. XD
