Hello. I am someone from the Japanese community, I wanted to say that the book I recommended to your post over there IS available online as a djvu file (as scans of image of every page) at the URL http://www.ebook.honglinhsoft.com/?page=book&id=3198#download
(I don't think I can post such things at that community, so just posted here for convenience. I do recommend having the paper one, but it's handy to have the electric version too, for easy question answering, I can skip actually scanning my own paper copy...)
