May. 7th, 2007 10:03 pmBack from my Himeji/Kyoto/Osaka/Nara/Kamakura/Tokyo trip. Great trip, so glad I went in the spring rather than the summer. It's already like 27 degrees celsius in Kanto. Saw Sakurazuka Yakkun (that fellow who dresses up like a delinquent schoolgirl and swings a shinai around while yelling foul language) for a whole 10 seconds in Tokyo! YATTA!
Currently exhausted. Small pile of marking on my desk to deal with. Have to attend some kind of international association meeting on Wednesday and a garden party at one of my bosses' houses on Friday. blind_go fics waiting for me like a bowl of sweet, sweet ice cream at the end of a bad breakup. Not that I've ever had one of those. A bad breakup, I mean. I've had sweet, sweet ice cream before.
Speaking of which, this is the first round of blind_go during which I did not acquire a new boyfriend, which sounds a lot worse than it is. It's also the first round of blind_go during which I did not finish my fic, which sounds exactly as sad as it is. Woe. :(
