So far we have zero plans but this is fantastic! Will (eventually) take a look at everything you sent. I loooove zoos and aquariums and of course food, so all that looks right up my alley. And maybe we can rent a car for a day, although I'm not sure any of us want to drive on the left! :)
I think we like to eat anything, but since Vancouver has such a huge Asian presence (my cousin works at a Pepper Lunch lol), we might be interested in more non-Asian food? But honestly, anything is fine. It'll be fun to see how the Asian food tastes down there compared to here.
As for budget, I think my dad and I are looking to not spend toooo much, since we're taking two other major trips this year (South Africa and Philippines/Thailand). I know Australia tends to be expensive compared to here too, so we probably want to avoid the high end stuff.
Judging by the people I'm going with I think we are going to take it easy and not overplan, so having Internet as we walk around will probably be important for us. How are the data/phone plans for visitors?
