Ah, yes, I've generalised like that too, judging an entire fandom after reading one good/badfic and then. I despise Star Wars fandom, with he exception of 2-3 fic...
Out of the Hikago fics I've read, I'm astounded that so many are so good - but, I'm new to fandom, and I've also not been clicking random links (but for that first fic that made me take notice of HnG). I guess I've got to the good stuff, because it's become harder for me to find fic that's worthwhile.
Btw, are you familiar with PoT fandom at all? I've just started watching it, and I've no clue where to go for good fic...
