Leaving on a Jet Plane
Jun. 27th, 2006 02:16 pmSo, I'm leaving on Friday for a vacation to Europe with my family. Woot. I'll be gone from June 30 to July 17. If I don't sound as excited as I ought to, well, that's because some bad stuff happened this week.
I'm also going to be moving to Japan for a year (!), leaving in early August. I am getting progressively more freaked out as my departure date approaches. So many things to do!
In terms of LJ, this means that I'm not going to be online as much for the next couple of months.
There was an article today in the Vancouver Sun about the latest fad (at least I've never heard of it): women marrying themselves. They even get wedding presents.
Some people might be able to make feminist statements about such an event--but I just want to say WANK WANK WANK WANKITY WANK.
