Wah, thank you! That's exactly the reaction I wanted. It's similar to the sort of reaction I had to reading DN itself.
Death Note, more than any other series, makes me want to write stories that are based on whacked-out concepts rather than character exploration. I might have to explore a character along the way, but it's not my end goal. It surprises me a little, but maybe it shouldn't, considering the source material.
I would be a little frightened if anyone said they loved this story. I'm a little weirded out that I wrote it myself.
