Am not able to come up with anything for blind_go. Augh. But I did find this fic snippet sitting on my hard drive.

A Wisteria Marriage
"I have to play. Because if I don’t...”
"Not everyone wants to play go like you do," said Akari, not meeing his eyes. "Some people just want to have fun, spend time with their friends, become a little stronger so they can be proud of themselves. But you, Hikaru..."
"I made a promise to someone," he told her in desperation. "I have to play, with everything I have. I need your support, Akari, I need you to understand that I can't always be home--"
"And that's why I can't do this anymore."
"You can't," Hikaru repeated her words, tears pricking at his eyes. "You promised to stay with me forever, through sickness and through health."
She put a hand on his cheek tenderly, and gave him the saddest look he had ever seen.
"Through sickness and health, but not indifference."

Author's Note: Lol Akari, it's a good thing in canon you get over Hikaru and get on with your life.
I have never been to a Western-style wedding in Japan, so I don't know if they actually use the words "through sickness and health." But I once met a "pastor" (a white guy not at all affiliated with any church) who performed wedding services for Japanese couples, and I imagine he made them say the typical vows.
