I'd write even longer reviews if your writing didn't reduce me to a blubbering pile of worshiping goo. And I mean it-- a lot of times your writing is so good that I can't really say anything other than "What the fuck how did you do that?" And so a lot of things I write about your fics. are super general. It's like any good artwork frankly, there's only so many adjectives I can use that are universal (great, good, etc. etc.) before I'm forced to delve into personal things I like about your writing. I hate doing that though, because all experiences should be unique and I don't like influencing the writer by telling them what I like unless I find something INCREDIBLE, but rather what I don't so the writer can get better. But I have to break that rule with you a lot because your writing is already top-shelf and I want you to know that yes, your writing is fucking good and yes, I'm generally left satisfied whenever I read something from you.

Oh god, there's going to be an Ender's Game movie? Why would they do such a thing? I have no faith in anything Hollywood does, particularly adaptations. They're going to force a random love interest onto Ender almost guaranteed. And Harrison Ford as Graff is just LOL.

Again, I think it's important to not give out those bits of imagery as much because a lot of authors I read go overboard with it. Human imagination is strong enough to fill in a lot of those spaces, and when you actually do write those lines, like in this fic., they're all the more poignant because you know where to put them. Which is why you're awesome. And my muse.

I always feel the plot of these one-shots are generally irrelevant because you're doing character-building or looking into character-depth. I mean, how much awesome plot can you really fit into a one-shot? That fact that you can evoke emotions is testament enough that it's good writing, damned good writing, and that's all that really matters. And I think the plot/situation/atmosphere is fantastic as is, as I mentioned. Your setup in this fic. is fucking awesome. There's plot and there's atmosphere and you do both wonderfully, so I don't know what you're talking about. And I feel your capacity to set atmosphere via your prose is godlike.

It's not just possible and I honestly feel if you find something that will motivate you to write something substantial you would be picked up somewhere. Then again I can only say that as a reader and a fan, so I have no professional opinion-- only that I would throw money at it.
