I found the listening section to be more difficult than on the practice tests, too. Very strange. In a bad way. XD

And I agree completely about forcing yourself to learn vocab (a set amount per day) and using a program like anki. I started it a bit too late, and didn't know as many vocab words as I should have. It's harder than you think to memorize so many words.

In summary, there's always next year.
