Final Fantasy Poetry Contest at Squaregamer! The winner can choose between a new FFV for GBA or FFIII for DS (not FFVI) for their prize. Deadline: January 31, 2007.

On a completely different note, one of the most amazing things I've learned since coming to Japan is that the songs "London Bridge" and "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes" and "That Preposition Song I Learned in French Class" are all set to the same tune. Who knew?

--are they really? i... well, maybe i only know one verse of "london bridge is falling down"? because it don't match up to "head, shoulders, knees and toes", at least the one i know...

They are totally the same tune the way I learned it. Truly! Here's a website that instructs you to sing Head and Shoulders to the tune of London Bridge:

oh, see--maybe the key difference is the head and shoulders bit. this is the way i learned it. (i mean, not that it matters. xD)

HA! The guy in that video got his mouth and nose mixed up on the first pass. Not cool, Mr. Guy.

I've never heard it to that tune before. @_@ I've heard it sung with and without the "and," but always to the tune of London Bridge. I am now enlightened!
