OMG take a look at early chapters of HQ compared to recent ones. It's gotten a lot chunkier, the lines thicker (which is easier to draw IMO) and a lot of characters' eyes are kind of sunken and square compared to before. Less screen tones too I think. It's not bad per se--definitely more distinctive--but I'm pretty sure it's a less time-consuming drawing style.

HQ is so popular they'd be crazy not to continue the anime in the future! But maybe it'll not be for a while. I'm glad a lot of companies aren't doing filler so much anymore--they just do hiatuses, which is fine by me.

I gotta watch oofuri one of these days--seems like one of those series everyone uses as a yardstick for other series. I am missing out on all this sports fandom yardsticking lol.
