I noticed Tanaka's shaved head thing but not the other stuff--Tanaka is basically Sakuragi without main character status, isn't he? They both like to chase girls too. I keep wanting to make a big comparison chart of the characters in HQ and SD because there are so many similarities XD
Oofuri is on my list! That's a big one I completely missed. Then after that, maybe Baby Steps, since there's a female protagonist (I think). I'm also kind of half-watching Eyeshield 21 out of the corner of my eye whenever I'm writing or drawing, but not paying enough attention to notice what's going on. For some reason I can't get into that series. Not pretty enough character designs maybe...
